Title:   Rigging and Lifting Specialist

Location:  Sumgait

JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for safe work implementation in accordance with Company policy and procedures;
• Implement all lifting and rigging in accordance with lift plans by: align, level, and anchor machinery; attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools; attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps; control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chain falls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment;
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use;
• Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules;
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability;
• Report all safety concerns/issues to supervisor immediately;
• Monitor and maintain all rigging equipment.

REQUIREMENTS 

Functional
 
• Must possess Rigging Inspection and Rigging & Lifting certifications;
• Must be proficient with basic computer skills;
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills;
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time, and ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 kgs;
• Must be able to spend time in external conditions which may include temperature variance, elevated noise levels, dust and fumes.

Behavioral 

• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Ability to effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with coworkers;
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Education & experience

• Possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree;
• Min. 3 years of experience as Foreman or Lead position;
• Languages: Azerbaijani and Intermediate level of English is a must.
