Job Summary:

The Contracts Analyst is a key management member of the Contracts Function. The Contracts Analyst is, depending on assignment, responsible for the overall management of all Client service contracts, wellsite subcontracts or Supplier agreements at their location/Product Line/category and for the resolution of all Contractual issues in accordance with our Client Contracts Risk Standard and/or Supply Chain Contracts Best Practices.

The Contracts Analyst is one of the main sponsors of the Contracts Management System at their location.

Requirements:
 
• Qualified lawyer. Background in Jurisprudence.
• 4+ years of contracting experience (ideally at an international company and/or oil producer/services company)
• English, Azari speaking (Russian is a bonus)
• Energetic, ambitious, hardworking, eager to learn, ideally a business sense and experience dealing with management.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

 Owns the Client Contract PROCESS from the moment the tender evaluation commences up to the end date of the Client Contract.
 Works with Sales & Marketing and participates in the tender evaluation, assessment and response process to ensure ALL Contract-related terms and conditions (whether legal or commercial) are properly addressed and assists Sales & Marketing to negotiate legal terms and conditions and commercialize the opportunity.
 Along with Sales & Marketing and the relevant Product Line, ensures that a Contract Owner is assigned to each Client Contract.
 Reviews and assesses the liabilities present in our Client Contracts in order to provide expert advice to our Product Line operations managers and management team.
 Collaborates with the Legal Department, Finance Department (including Tax), HSE, Supply Chain, Operations (or any other department/function) as appropriate, to ensure contractual and commercial risks and exposures are clearly identified, analyzed and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
 Assists our Product Line operations’ managers, the management team and the relevant departments/functions with the review and assessment of the commercial exposures present in our Client Contracts.
 Ensures that Company Client Contracts for products and/or services signed in their location are in compliance with the Client Contracts Risk Standard and Company contracting guidelines. 
 Ensures that the Supplier Contracts for products and/or services signed in the assigned area/location/Category are in compliance with the Supply Chain Contracts Best Practices.
 Reviews, proposes revisions, negotiates and drafts Supplier Contracts whenever necessary.
 Reviews and assesses the liabilities present in Supplier Contracts in order to provide expert advice to the Supply Chain management team.
 interacts with all necessary support functions and departments in matters related to Client Contracts, wellsite subcontracts and or Supplier Contracts.
