Title: QA Specialist
The main duties of the successful candidate will be:
• Pre-shipment Inspection compliance with specifications.
• Visual & Dimensional inspection on all received and outgoing equipment by parameters listed on drawings or specification sheets
• Prepares and maintains reports, records and documentation of inspection acceptance, rejection, and/or re-work requirements
• Responsible for all measuring and test equipment, ensuring current calibration and calibration labels affixed to each piece prior to use.
• Trackingand recording of calibration tools and equipment in the workshop
• Preparation of Sub Assembly sheets & Local Equipment Verification Procedures
• Complete Non Conforming Materials Reports & FPR’s when required
• Review QC procedures, reports, inspection and test plans.
• Complete Inspection register
• Work safely and ensure that HSE requirements are integrated into their daily work activities, projects, and programs
• Understand and comply with applicable HSE laws and regulations and HSE work instruction
• Report safety hazards immediately to their supervisor, manager, or appropriate person(s)
• Report all accidents, incidents, near-miss incidents, and work-related symptoms immediately to their supervisor, manager, or appropriate person(s)
• Participate in the investigation process and adhere to recommendations as requested
Requirements
• Education Engineering (Mechanical)
• Some technical background in Mechanical Engineering
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Competent computer skills. MS Office
• Communication skills
