Position: MEP Site Inspector                                               

Job Type Full-time

Required work experience: 3-5 years

Job Location: Azerbaijan/Baku

Education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Review the MEP design systems, method statement and other project document
• Coordinate the MEP installations on site with various design disciplines
• Supervise, examine and inspect the MEP work installations in accordance to project documentation
• Assist the QS as required
• Checking, recording and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor
• Monitoring site construction progress
• Prepare and issue NCRs, snag list, violation notices and other correspondence
• Assist with supervision of the MEP testing and commissioning
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, local standards
• Ensure HSE rules are adhered on site

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in on-site construction management services.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, processes, and methods)
• Mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing engineering customs and practices in expressing ideas, designs, and data in drawings.
• Experience with federal office buildings preferred.
• Plan, organize, review, and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others.
• Design principles, mathematics, and construction industry practice for the solution of mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing engineering problems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft and email applications.
