Role: Surveyor
Our company is currently looking for a “Surveyor” to work under the following conditions:
Work Location: One of the regions of Azerbaijan (Onshore)
Type of Assignment: Contract
Contract Duration: Permanent
Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: negotiable
Surveyor duties and responsibilities:
• Undertaking land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners;
• Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD and GIS (geographic information systems) programs;
• Preparing survey drawings;
• Presenting data to clients and writing reports;
• Advising about technical matters and whether construction plans are viable.
Surveyor desired qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience;
• Minimum 3 years of surveyor relevant work experience;
• Proven working experience as a Surveyor;
• Numeracy and the ability to make mathematical calculations;
• The ability to understand and interpret data;
• Excelent IT skills and confidence with new technology;
• Problem solving and analysis;
• Attention to detail;
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Positive attitude and good work ethic;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Willingness to travel to project sites, sometimes out-of-town;
• Valid drivers license.
