“OLGA” Software Engineer
Job Summary:
The Engineer who carries out pipeline calculations on the “OLGA” software should know the following:
• Drawing up the calculation scheme of the pipeline network inside of the oil field both on onshore and offshore
• Drawing up the calculation scheme of the main pipeline both on onshore and offshore
• The hydraulic calculation of pipeline which comes from the well to the accumulation platform
• Carrying out the hydraulic calculations of pipelines as a fluid, gas and three-phase flow
• The identification of the pipelines diameters
• The identification of the initial and final pressure of pipelines
• The calculation and analysis of the pigging process (Cleaning the inside of pipelines by piston piping)
• The identification of the probability of the stoppage in the fluid pipes
• The identification of the probability of hydrates in gas pipelines and with regard to this, the identification of the optimum pressure and temperature
• The calculation of the dew point in gas pipelines
• The identification of the temperature of settling of the paraffin on the pipe walls during the transit
• The identification of losses of pressure
• The identification of the product speeds inside of the pipe
• Analyzing the hydraulic impact in pipeline
• The conversion of made calculation scheme to a program
• The selection of the pipe material and giving their coating parameters
• The identification of the optimum transit temperature of the product transited
• Drawing up the temperature change schedules
• Drawing up the outcomes of calculations carried out
Experience:
• High school diploma
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Minimum 5+ years engineering or other related experience.
Job type: full-time
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
