OVERSEAS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The company develops projects with the target to advance welfare of society as well as to gain outstanding results and high-impact outcomes. Our company aims to provide innovative and feasible solutions to companies, public organizations and institutions, particularly within the scope of projects financed by international or bilateral institutions.

Our Business Development team delivers incremental benefits by enabling Prima growing new partnerships and developing new paths to market. The Overseas Business Development Officer position provides assistance to this team to penetrate new markets successfully.

Major duties:

 To conduct daily tracking of international databases (like EuropeAid, Devex, World Bank etc.) and to report potential business opportunities in overseas markets to the business development team in required format
 To identify and contact with potential private and public sector clients who would be interested in PRIMA’s consulting solutions.
 To carry out regular updates on internal system for tender tracking and preparation processes
 To communicate with consulting companies/experts for potential/on-going projects
 To make the references ready for Expression of Interest, to make necessary scope adjustments, and to ensure updated information of ongoing projects is reflected in the references
 To be actively involved in preparation of Expression of Interest and Final proposals
 To follow up and ensure timely submission of clarification questions to and from the Contracting Authority

Functional requirements:

 Due to the international element of the role, you must have language skills, most importantly English and Russian to a high standard.
 At least, one year of relevant experience.
 Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Work conditions:

 Location & travelling: Mainly in Baku (95%).
 Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, 5 working days a week. Extra hours may sometimes be needed, especially if you are up against a tight deadline or if there are problems to resolve.
 Paid annual leave, two times a year x 15 days = 30 days.
 Free lunch is provided at the office.

Salary:

Salary is composed of fixed and variable components. Paid probation period is one month (1 month).
 Fixed salary: Fixed salary for the 1st year is 900 AZN (net).
 Variable (bonus): Additional benefits from the successful project bids:
o 0.25 % from the contract amount for the small size contract awards up to 100,000 AZN/USD/EUR
o 0.50 % from the contract amount for the medium size contract awards up to 1,000,000 AZN/USD/EUR
o 0.75 % from the contract amount for the large size contract awards over 1,000,000 AZN/USD/EUR

Self-development target:

 Candidate should complete Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) ® qualification (http://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/certified-associate-capm) during first six month of employment. The candidate will be requested to register and purchase study materials during probation period. Study material and exam costs will be reimbursed upon successful completion.
