Position: IT Senior Billing Engineer
Main responsibilities
• To perform job tasks while ensuring high customer satisfaction with services provided by ICT to internal and external customers
• To participate in end-to-end development of Billing and related Services according to SDLC principles
• To develop Billing Services in line with ICT Development Plan and Roadmap
• To ensure that VAS based on IN and Billing platform and related SDP are developed/configured according to Business requirements
• To ensure that all services are planned, developed, implemented and integrated according to the required Service Levels to meet Customer Satisfaction Targets and international standards
• To preform Vendor, Release and Change Management
• To participate in meetings with internal and external customers to discuss system and services requirements
• To participate in Preparation of processes, procedures and workflows
• To analyze proposals and investigate possibilities for implementation of new services
• To follow current Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• To maintain all necessary documents and work orders
• To ensure the Platforms and Services are delivered, integrated and installed according to the requirements
• To transfer knowledge and know-how whenever required
• To produce Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress reports for Line Manager and Senior Management
• To perform platforms/applications capacity Expansion and Software updates
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position
Education
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Telecom related field or significant relevant experience (minimum 2 years) is a must
Experience
• Experience in BSS platforms development, engineering, implementation and integration – minimum 2 years
Special professional skills
• Knowledge of programming language is preferable
• Proficiency in software tools required to perform the job tasks
• Experience in working with 3GPP standards
• Knowledge of BSS architecture
• Knowledge of protocols used in BSS, cellular and computer networks is preferable (SIGTRAN, MAP, TCP/IP protocol family, Camel, xml, DCC etc)
• Knowledge and experience in administration, engineering, configuration and management of IN, Billing and Service Delivery platforms
• Experience in development of VAS based on IN and Billing platforms
• Proficiency in software tools required to perform the job tasks
• Knowledge of Linux and SQL
• Understanding of DB architecture
Languages
• Azeri – Fluent
• English - Advanced
• Russian – Preferable but not must
Personal skills Behavioral
• Strong analytical Skills
• Good communication skills
