Position: IT Senior Mediation and PRM Engineer
Department: Customer and Enterprise Management Platforms
Line manager: IT Mediation and PRM Team Leader
Main responsibilities
• To perform job tasks ensuring high customer satisfaction with services provided by IT to internal and external customers.
• To participate in End-to-end development of Mediation and PRM Services and Reports and any related platforms and systems according to SDLC principles
• To develop Mediation and PRM Services and any related platforms and systems in line with IT Development Plan and Roadmap
• To ensure that Platforms, systems and services development is done according to Business requirements
• To ensure that all services are planned, developed, implemented and integrated according to the required Service Levels to meet Customer Satisfaction Targets and international standards
• To preform Vendor, Release and Change Management procedures .
• To escalate to IT Mediation and PRM Team Leader any issues, as required
• To perform the execution of development in accordance with a specified strategy, procedures and plans
• To participate in meetings with internal and external customers to discuss system and services requirements
• To participate in Preparation of processes, procedures and workflows
• To analyze proposals and investigate possibilities for implementation of new services
• To follow current Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• To produce Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress reports for Line Manager and Senior Management
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position
Education
• University Diploma in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Telecom related field or significant relevant experience (minimum 2 years) is a must
Experience
• Experience in BSS platforms development, engineering, implementation and integration – minimum 2 years
Special professional skills
• Experience in working with 3GPP standards
• Knowledge of BSS architecture
• Knowledge of protocols used in BSS, cellular and computer networks is preferable (SIGTRAN, MAP, TCP/IP protocol family, Camel, xml, DCC etc)
• Experience in development and configuration of BSS, Mediation, Interconnect and Roaming settlement services and reports
• Knowledge of Linux and SQL
• Understanding of DB architecture
• Knowledge of programming language is preferable
Computer skills
• Knowledge of MS office
• Proficiency in software tools required to perform the job tasks
Languages
• Azeri – advanced
