A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts, ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Chief Accountant for its Hotel Units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Preparation of monthly statutory accounts and financial statements under USALI.
 Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
 Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
 Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations.
 Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
 Review and comment both purchasing and sales agreements.
 Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
 Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
 Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 Professional experience of at least 3-5 years in hospitality.
 Higher economic education - essential.
 Possession of specialized accounting software (ERP systems).
 Excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation.
 Good knowledge in legal matters.
 Ability to make corporate reporting under USALI.
 Leadership - the willingness to make decisions and take responsibility.
 Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
 High communication skills.
 Knowledge of OPERA, Micros billing systems is advantage.
