Training and Quality Manager

The right candidates helps drive company values and philosophy and ensures all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization’s mission and vision. Works with head of departments’ team to identify and address associates and organizational development needs. To analyze training needs and develop appropriate and training plan training programs, to develop and conduct orientation program for newcomers, to encourage and support individual associates  to make the most efficient and effective use of their abilities, so that they can make the maximum contribution to the success of the company for the mutual advantage of both parties.

Position Responsibilities

•         Develop and implement training programs, tools and resources for associates at all levels (line, leadership, executives)
•         Conduct New Associate Orientation and training for new associates
•         Work closely with operational managers to drive service quality and consistency initiatives throughout property, ensuring customer satisfaction scores are maintained and improved
•         Facilitate Trump Hospitality Workshop programs for associates of all levels
•         Provide continuous learning and development opportunities for both line and leadership associates
•         Actively engaged and involved throughout all areas of the property both front and back of house inclusive of daily walkthroughs
•         Conduct internal secret shops to assess quality of product and services
•         Prepare and analyze monthly guest satisfaction reports
•         Develop and maintain all back of house mechanisms for communication to associates inclusive of bulletin boards, monitors and newsletters
•         Liaise with 3rd party operators on training needs and quality initiatives
•         Development of annual learning & development plan and calendar
•         Active involvement and support in other areas of the Human Resources department

Required Skills:

• University Degree.
• Minimum 3 years of similar experience in the same position within luxury hotels.
• Managerial experience: >3 years.
• GTC & CTC qualified (plus).
• Professional computer user.
• Ability to converse in English & Azerbaijani.
• Outstanding attention to detail, organization, decision making and analytical skills
• Self-starter, innovator, results-driven with ability to meet both short and long term business goals
• Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
• Innovative and change driven with a high sense of urgency
• Strong public speaking skills, exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
