Amec Foster Wheeler is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for QA/QC Lead (National)

The successful candidates should have the following capabilities:

• Higher Degree in Quality related discipline and / or experience linked to grade
• Certificated Lead Auditor of Quality Systems
• 5 Years in a leadership role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

Support the Quality Manager by playing a leading role in the following:
• Control and organisation of the Quality Assurance Department.
• Maintaining and enhancing where necessary, the Company Quality Management Systems to ensure that they continually meet with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
• Maintaining Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) approval relating to Design, Procurement and Construction aspects.
• Routinely reviewing Company Procedures and Standards in conjunction with applicable departments, making recommendations where necessary to ensure that current Company working practices and latest industry requirements are met.
• Coordination of input to regular Quality Management Reviews of the System in accordance with related procedure.
• Provision of Quality Assurance input to new proposals and participating in formal presentations to potential clients.
• Proposing key Quality Assurance and Certification personnel for projects.
• Ensuring by review and audit that Quality Assurance activities being applied to Projects are undertaken in accordance with applicable Company Procedures and Standards.
• Coordinating Company internal quality auditing activities and monitoring audits undertaken on projects.
• To report promptly to Top Management any quality related problems which cannot be resolved by line Management.
• Input to induction/training sessions as necessary to familiarise Company personnel with AMEC Quality Management techniques and procedures.
• Appraising performance of subordinates and identifying and implementing training needs as necessary.
• Liaison with existing and potential clients to ensure that common understanding exists with regards to interpretation and application of quality management principles to project situations.
• Promoting AMEC Quality Assurance expertise both within and outside the AMEC group of companies.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the Company Quality Management Systems.
• To read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and arrangements described in the Company and area Safety Management System documents.
• Maintenance of the Q-Pulse on-line Records Management System.
