Assistant Director of Finance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Manages the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Office
Train and supervise Accounting staff including coaching, counseling and discipline
Asset and Liability accounts reconciliation
Testing all internal financial controls, including purchasing, cash handling and disbursements, inventories
Lead effort in achieving 100% compliance in the ICQ (Internal Controls Questionnaire)
 
To assist DOF in following:

• Supervise and direct the financial activities of the Hotel, safeguard the assets and prepare all financial reports
• Analyze financial data of operations in order to advise management and to assist in maintaining an efficient operation
• Prepare, review and present the Monthly report of Operations
• Preparation of forecast and budgets as required (Annual, Revised Annual, Monthly, and/or on Corporate/Owner’s requests)
• Review all contracts and legal agreements, assist Management in maintaining all licenses, permits, insurance and contracts

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree required, preferably in Accounting
Minimum 3 years of related experience in hotel industry, preopening experience is plus
Managerial experience: >3 years
Knowledge of local legislation (tax, labor, social protection)
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office
Analytic skills
Excellent English
