Job title: Finance Director

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall effective financial management and reporting and actively contribute towards the financial planning and strategic growth of the organization;
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures for Finance Department and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in accordance with Azerbaijani Legislation;
• Plan, prepare and timely control financial plans, budgets and forecasts;
• Lead the financial aspects of any strategic projects aimedat development of the company;
• Lead, monitor and control the quality and timeliness of services provided by the department to ensure high standards and value for money;
• Lead and initiate liaison with auditors;
• Cooperate with developer of the management accounting system towards improvement of reports provided and facilitation of the use of the system;
• Prepare and timely report appropriate management and financial reports to the CEO and Supervisory Board, respectively
• Lead and manage the Finance team by establishing collaborativeworking relationships with team via recruitment, training and timely communication.
• Manage the performance of the team by carrying out progress reviews and ensuring KPIs are developed for all team members;
• To carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time be allocated by the CEO on an ad-hoc or continuing basis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar majors. Master’s Degree, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualifications are preferred.
• More than 2 years of senior financial controller experience (desirably at production company), with at least 1 year of experience in direct management and supervision of a finance team;
• Proven experience in preparing, setting and monitoring the budget and financial forecasting;
• Proven experience inpreparing and presenting financial and management accounts, reports and data;
• Experience of liaising with auditors;
• Good working knowledge with the well-accepted accounting software systems;
• Knowledge of management systems for all accounting functions including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, cash and banking, nominal ledger and stock.
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Proven report writing skills;
• Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Ability to set targets, motivate and inspire staff to achieve targets;
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivating;
• Excellent English, Azerbaijani and Russian language skills.
