Construction supervision

Principle Accountabilities

- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force;
- Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis and ensures that work is done on time and within budget and to the right quality standards;
- Performs organisational and supervisory role on construction project;
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- Making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
- Coordinate with the builders Project Manager, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
- Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
- Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
- Preparing reports as required

The right approach:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry;
- Understands all aspects of the building process and reads blueprints expertly;
- Good knowledge of MEP building systems;
- Proficient  with AutoCad program and computer software;
- Extensive knowledge of Construction Safety Orders;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Azeri, Russian and a good English
- Ability to plan and organize a team effort
- Self-starting person, taking responsibilities and initiatives
- Deliver high quality and ultimate work
