Job Title Accreditation Operations Manager

Key accountabilities 

• Take a leading role in the planning, development and implementation of the overall Accreditation Operation
• Working closely with the venue teams provide comprehensive Accreditation zoning for the venues, with consideration to the overall client flows
• Plan and manage the Accreditation Venue Offices / Centres
• Recruit, train and manage the paid staff and volunteers required to run the Accreditation support operation
• Support BEGOC in the planning and delivery of the test event programme
• Support the Venue teams in bumping in to venue, including testing of technology and equipment required to run the operation

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• At least 5 years of proven project/program management experience
• Experience planning and managing a multi-stakeholder operation, ideally in the service/hospitality or sports industry
• Accreditation experience in at least one other multi-sport global event is preferable
• Venue planning experience
• Presentation experience to large audiences in multi lingual environment
• Experience of managing paid staff and volunteers  in high pressure environments
• Ability to apply a clear, logical and coherent approach to analysis of complex issues, and implement effective solutions
• Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments
• Flexibility to the implementation of change that will favor successful delivery outcomes
• Detail-conscious and well-organised
