We are currently seeking for Engineer/Supervisor Engineer for Project in Iraq

Work purpose:

Supervision and management of mechanical teams for installation and commissioning of Rotating Machineries (API 617 Centrifugal Compressors) and associated “on skid/off skid” equipment

Project site:
Iraq: Oil and Gas processing facility built by international oil company.

Job description/Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years proven experience as Mechanical Centrifugal Compressors Installation Specialist;

- Skilled in mechanical installation (erection and commissioning) and/or maintenance of centrifugal compressors (API617);

- Good experience in relevant site activities (i.e. Geometric dimensional check of foundation, equipment and auxiliaries skids positioning, levelling and alignment, coupling, drives, dry gas seals installation, etc.);

- Installation and assembling activities of compressor auxiliary equipment, such: as lube and/or seal oil console, seal gas  system, air console, interconnection piping, oil cooler, anti-surge system, oil flushing and blowing, etc.);

- Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, air system, seal gas system, anti-surge system;

- Work closely with Instrumentation Engineer during the installation, calibration and set-up of compressor electrical instrumentation (such as vibration probes, temperature elements, Electro/pneumatic converters, etc.);

- Verify the start-up sequence; provide assistance during the start-up phase, checking all functional parameters of compressor and equipment, in order to optimize performances and efficiency.

Desired Skills and Experience/ Required Competences:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Capability to work independently and to lead local resources (on behalf of Hitachi Compressor Manufacturing Division);
- Good leadership and personnel management;
- Proficient in drawings interpretation and any other technical documentation;
- Mark up all drawings to show modifications (as built);
- Good working knowledge and practice of IT programs;
- Fluent in English language
