Procurement Manager (Food and Beverage; Catering field)

The Main duties:

• Manage preparation of procurement SOPs and control over effective implementation of it
• Maintaining “Supplier Performance Evaluation” form and “Approved Vendor List” form
• Preparation of tender policies and providing proper tender based on procedures
• Active participation in procurement planning and budgets.
• Prepare supplier evaluation questionnaires and provide supplier audits
• Manage procurement team, evaluate their performance, make sure to get maximum effectiveness from their efforts
• Make frequent purchasing analysis related to suppliers, inventory shortages, slow moving items, expiration dates etc.
• Define problems based on analysis and come up with suggestions to solve them
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships and assess performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement processes
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
• Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies.
• Work closely with internal teams to align procurement with business goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or any economic specialty (MBA is an advantage)
• Proven experience in Procurement within the food & beverage sector.
• Professional qualification, especially preference for CIPS certificates
• Excellent level of Azerbaijani language, advanced level of Russian and English
• Experience with ERP systems especially purchasing and inventory modules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel is a must), MS Outlook 
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and supply chain best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage budgets effectively

Working Conditions:

• In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport area, separate modern building.
• Work Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week from 09:00 till 18:00).
• The company daily provides free service transportations from/to different locations (such as, Koroglu m/s, Bakikhanov, Amirdjan, Mardakan, Bina, Surakhani and so on).
