Network and Systems Manager

The Network and Systems Manager is responsible for the design, maintenance, security, and reliability of the school’s technology infrastructure. This includes managing a custom multi-server environment, ensuring network uptime, overseeing cybersecurity practices, and providing high-level technical expertise to support teaching, learning, and administrative operations. Qualifications & Experience Needed

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience managing enterprise-level networks and servers.       
• Demonstrated experience with backup and disaster recovery systems. 
• Cybersecurity knowledge and experience implementing best practices.       
• Ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment with excellent customer service skills.     

Strong expertise in:

• Network design and troubleshooting.    
• Windows and/or Linux server administration.  
• Virtualization technologies.
• Firewall administration.      
• Active Directory and identity management  

Preferred

• Experience working in schools or similar institutions.   
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft, or VMware.  
• Experience with Google Workspace for Education.    
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies.
