Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers and vendors.
- Gather quotations and ensure competitive pricing for all procurement needs.
- Maintain an up-to-date vendor database.
- Communicate with vendors to gather product specifications, availability, and delivery schedules
- Support the creation and issuance of purchase orders (POs) in line with business requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of POs in the system.
- Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time deliveries schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and review of procurement contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintain organized records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor documentation.
- Support inventory tracking and stock replenishment processes.
- Assist in the coordination of stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills
- Minimum 1 year working experience in a clerical setting or in purchasing
- Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Skills in mathematics, finance or accounting.
- Good understanding and professional experience with Purchasing Contracts
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
- Language skills
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, Good speaking and writing ability in Russian
