Member of Synergy Group “AFC” LLC is looking for experienced professionals aiming to build a successful career and be a part of a Professional Team with lots of opportunities. “AFC” LLC will be first manufacturing factory of construction materials from fiber cement including roofing materials, facing panels and sidings in Azerbaijan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and qualitative oral and written translation;
• Proofread the text submitted for translation and liaise with the author to retain the content, context and comprehension of the original text;
• Check translation of technical terms and terminology, ascertain their integrity after modification in the translation;
• Participate in consideration of translation requirements and time needed for certain translation with relevant directors and managers;
• Listen to the statements of the speakers by using electronic listening devices to construe and interpret the meanings thereby provide well-expressed translations;
• Supervise the process of proofreading, editing and modification in the translated stuff to ensure translation accuracy;
• Read through written stuff such as reports on legal documents, scientific researches, news and ensure they were processed into particular style;
• Provide synchronic and simultaneous translation of letters into Russian, Azeri and English languages remaining consistent to their context, content and style;
• Comply with set ethical standards to ensure confidentiality of information;
Administrative:
• Receive and keep records of the incoming/outgoing mails;
• Keep records of regulatory documents (decree, decision, resolution etc.,);
• Forward information by receiving and distributing communications to the appropriate executive department;
• Keep records of and scan the agreements to the internal corporate data base;
• Maintain the filling system, archive and file all correspondence to ensure easy searching access to the sources;
• Prepare and keep records of all documents and correspondence, deliver documents to archive;
• Cooperate and stay in touch with existing foreign companies in English.
Requirements:
• Higher education, at least 3 (three) years’ experience in translation field;
• Use of MS office applications at a high level ;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Strong language skills (Azerbaijani, English and Russian);
• Ability to work with deadlines and in a team;
• Ability to organize work load and to manage a filing methods and management techniques.
