Safety Responsibilities:

• Employee shall work in accordance with the company HSE Policies (no accidents, no harm to people, no damage to the environment)
• Employee shall follow the BP Golden Rules of Safety and Company Safety procedures
• Employee shall follow Company working procedures, including use of proper PPE
• Employee shall stop work immediately where they identify any unsafe situation and report the situation to his Line Manager
• Employee shall report any incidents to his line Manager immediately
• To ensure there are adequate safety personnel trained and skilled to overseas safety in the company
• To oversee the safety processes and critically challenge the assumptions on an ongoing basis
• To ensure that all operations comply with internal safety regulations, client agreements, statutory requirements and overall are to the highest international best practice
• Employee shall not discuss or disseminate company’s internal matters or any companies internal information

Job Description:

• Addressing all safety issues that arise and ensuring all on-site operations are in compliance with HSE standards, Company policies and procedures
•  Conduct daily tool-box meetings and reinforce the HSE compliance
•  Respond to internal site and external inquires related to Health and Safety
•  To follow Permit to Work, STOP/ASA procedures for relevant work
• Internal monitoring of the site activities and operations using periodic HSE audits
• Review Risk Assessments prepared by Site Supervisors
• Manage HSE Program to avoid any accidents at work
• Advising on the hazardous nature of waste and the handling thereof
• Advising on the correct methods for containment to ensure environmental protection
• Examine and define on-site personnel’s proficiency and training requirements
•  Ensure communication of all relevant HSE procedures to suppliers and contractors
• Any other duties if required

Reporting requirements:

• Submit Monthly Safety Input Record Sheet
• Submit relevant reports to AA Services management, clients
• Submit Monthly STOP Record
• Submit other relevant reports to management or QHSE Supervisor upon request

Qualifications:

• College or university degree in environmental, engineering sciences or other related filed. Relevant work experience as HSE Officer/Coordinator  in oil & gas industry –min 5 yrs
• Excellent languages skills in: English (Upper intermediate), Azeri, Russian
• NEBOSH safety qualification
• OHSAS 18001 Certificate
• Relevant HSE trainings 
• Good Computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Hard and dynamic worker
• Good safety attitude and accurate person
• Good physical condition, good eye-sight
