Position: HTDU Operator

Location of work: Garadag district

Closing date: 30 November 2014

Safety Responsibilities:

• Employee shall work in accordance with the company HSE Policies (no accidents, no harm to people, no damage to the environment)
• Employee shall follow the BP Golden Rules of Safety and AA Services Safety procedures
• Employee shall follow AA Services working procedures, including use of proper PPE
• Employee shall stop work immediately where they identify any unsafe situation and report the situation to their Supervisor
• Employee shall report any incidents to their line Manager or Operations Manager immediately

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operation of the units in accordance with Plant Operating Manual
• Safe operation of equipment and technical systems  
• Safe and correct implementation of procedures in the conducted maintenance program
• Ensure that relevant requirements of the Management System are implemented on the activities performed under his management
• Initiate corrective action required to prevent the occurrence of a non-conformance
• Immediately inform the Supervisor when any equipment is damaged/found to be damaged
• Notify the Supervisor in any situation where it becomes necessary to deviate from standard operating criteria
• Perform all duties in a manner to ensure personal safety and safety of the staff/visitors
• Any other duties which may be reasonably required

Specific Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for thermal generators’ maintenance and to determine schedule and procedure for safe and efficient maintenance
• Maintain contact with supplier to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and urgent repair of generators
• Prepare and update required documentation for generators’ maintenance as per schedule and report to AAS management team in case of any defects/problems

• Reporting to: Operations Coordinator
• Employees reporting to this position: HTDU assistants

Qualifications:

• University/or college degree in Technical Sciences/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or in Oil and Gas
• Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering work experience in Oil and Gas sector preferred
• Relevant trainings preferable
• English language knowledge
• Hard and dynamic worker
• Be able to work with teams
