- Conduct cost analysis and market research to support informed procurement decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to understand procurement needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to facilitate a smooth procurement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, preferably in the marine or maritime industry.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for procurement and documentation.
