The Role:

As the Material Specialist, you will be working primarily in the office in Supply Chain Department.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze and process material requisitions received from field personnel.
• Liaise with end users, material controller, finance, and project and operations teams to ensure that material category, classification, and cost center are correct.
• Enter Purchase Requests in SAP (the company’s ERP system). 
• Enter Purchase Orders in SAP, if required
• Process “Goods Releases” in SAP 
• Stand in for the material controller and be able to fulfill his duties while he is away.
• Fulfill special supply chain tasks assigned by the head of the department.

 Education and experience:

• Education level: minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience in material management or supply chain
• SAP skills are desirable but not essential

• Possess a motivated and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Lateral-thinking ability
• Good spoken and written English skills (intermediate at minimum
• Capacity to multitask
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
