Summary:

  • Support Company System infrastructure, Managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating hardware and software assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization;
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes;
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues;
  • Write infrastructure related scripts to automate all manual tasks plus streamline operational activities;
  • Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, infrastructure design and monitoring;
  • Install, configure and maintain various types of hardware and software, which often involves creating user accounts;
  • Knowledge of Group Policies and Scripting; 
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure;
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures;
  • Execute technology successfully by minimal downtime as well as disruption;
  • Work with 3rd party technical teams to provide solutions for Company internetworking communications requirements;
  • Involve actively in team to assist solve problems inclusive of different technologies straddling multiple work groups.

Requirements:

  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; 
  • Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience and broadcast automation system expertise;
  • Oracle and MS SQL knowledge is plus;
  • Managing Multisite Active Directory Infrastructure; 
  • Experience with SQL databases and patch management;
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery;
  • Experience with high availability storage technologies;
  • Understanding of virtual systems and technologies;
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent;
  • Custom application support and configuration expertise;
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols;
  • Fluent English language skills;
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
