Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's business goals. Collaborate with business leaders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable plans;
• Data Modeling: Design and create data models that define the structure and relationships of data entities. Ensure data models adhere to industry best practices and standards;
• Database Management: Oversee the design and implementation of databases, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and security. Choose appropriate database systems and tools based on project requirements;
• Data Integration: Develop strategies for integrating data from various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy. Implement data integration solutions that support seamless data flow across different systems;
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management. Experience in data strategy development and implementation;
• Proficiency in data modeling and design tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar);
• Expertise in SQL and experience with at least one of the major database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence platforms;
• Understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Any other specific requirements:

• Microsoft Office knowledge;
• Fluent English language skills;
• Knowledge of cloud data services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable;
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are advantageous;
• Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy laws and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
