Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.
 

We are currently looking for a Procurement Buyer

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact a range of suppliers to obtain quotations and place commitment based on price, quality and according to project/demand, company policy and budget.
• Meet suppliers and negotiating the most favorable terms of contract.
• Sourcing alternative equipment, goods and services to ensure prices remain competitive with no compromise of quality.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new ones for future requirements.
• Actively involved in, and promote, enhancements to current ways of working/processes.
• Attend production meetings and supply procurement status reports.
• Cooperate with Production Planning team
• Assists operational planning team for product phase out planning, analyze inventory and distri-butes reports for disposition of material approval.
• Broad knowledge of procurement functions forms of contract and procedures.
• Ability to work within a busy department and cope with the pressure of meeting demanding tar-gets and working to tight deadlines.
• Liaise closely with personnel in other departments within the organisation.

Requirements and skills:

• Technical or Industrial Engineering University Degree
• 3-5 years work experience
• Fluency in  Azeri / English / Russian
• Strong MS Office skills
• Flexible and fast learning
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
