QHSE Team Leader
• Accountability for the support of Health, Safety & Environment in the Baku office consistent with Customer Service Business policy and procedures
• Responsible for overall QHS&E issues and internal audits within Central Asia and Georgia region;
• Responsible for office HSE, including fire drills, risk assessments and medical training required.
• Maintain and improve regional compliance to the HSE Management system policies and procedures;
• Lead HS&E reporting and performance monitoring, including trend analysis and the preparation of reports, and the development of improvement programmes to address any issues identified.
• Undertake incident investigations and compile reports, support the investigation processes across the organisation.
• Maintain HSE audits/inspections schedule, perform the audits and site visits and support the closure of any non-conformances raised.
• Develop and support effective risk management program (risk assessments etc.).
• Provide professional advice and consultancy in health, safety and environmental management.
• Identify HS&E training needs and ensure compliance within the region.
• Lead and coach the Regional team in HS&E culture and awareness.
• Lead Process Excellence Improvement Journey for the Region.
• Achieve/ maintain third party certifications (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001).
• In liaison with General Manager and relevant landlord(s), to ensure the furnishing, distribution and maintenance of accommodation for RRIPEOPL personnel
• To ensure that all drivers have gears, paperwork and petrol cards needed for their functioning
Qulifications required:
• 5 years experience working in the HS&E field;
• Must have at least 5 years experience of working in the relevant specialist field, e.g. quality, environmental, health and safety protection.
• Educated to degree level in engineering, environmental or other relevant sciences.
• Chartered status of NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Detailed knowledge of HS&E matters including major hazards relating to company.
• Knowledgeable in pertinent HS&E legislation (region specific).
• Fluent in written and spoken, Azeri and English.
