Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the creation, implementation, updating, review, and auditing of the Company Health & Safety Plan in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Manage regular Health, Safety, and Environmental inspections of the Malls and HQ to identify risks.
  • Gather and analyze HSE-related data.
  • Make recommendations based on risk factors identified.
  • Compile and submit regular HSE reports to management.
  • Design and maintain a Corporate Risk Register related to safety issues.
  • Provide regular reports and analytics on HSE data as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver Health & Safety Training and Safety Inductions covering emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
  • Support the company's Top Management, Units, and Departments in all issues concerning Health and Safety at work.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and prepare reports on these matters.
  • Lead incident investigations and carry out accident analysis.
  • Maintain incident statistics based on gathered data, identify trends, and suggest improvement plans.
  • Provide safety-related input into new projects (such as new malls).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • In-depth knowledge of local legislation and procedures regarding HSE. 
  • 5 or above years’ experience in related field.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Leadership skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.  
  • HSE Qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate is a plus.
