Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the following:

• Collecting data required to make improvements and modifications
• Overseeing the construction of new plants (brownfield and greenfield projects)
• Using and developing process simulation software to work out the best production methods
• Using scientific principles related to magnitude, momentum, heat transfer etc
• Supervising plant operations
• Investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
• Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
• Liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists
• Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process technical parameters data, support Cause & Effect Diagrams preparation, Control philosophies, Shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports, Operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
• Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of accidents.
• Familiarization with international standards and requirement
• Involvement to Process Safety Engineering studies with basic application level

Education/Experience and Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Min 5 years’ experience in process engineering of different projects
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in process simulations
• Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
• CAD or AutoCad skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
