Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the following:

  • To lead dedicated operation, support team (office based).
  • To assign the tasks to dedicated personnel and be responsible on deliveries.
  • Work alongside vendor resources during escalated incidents, help to troubleshoot incidents, analyze root cause and provide solutions. 
  • Help support and maintain all environment and liaise with third-party providers.
  • Work with technical groups, site supervisors and HSEQ to make sure they can identify and diagnose potential customer quality issues before they become actual problems.
  • Produce environment metrics reports (working with vendors, as required) for management (KPI’s).
  • Facilitate pro-active communications and engagements with key constituents to ensure effective support. 
  • Support line manager in development and implementation of the policies for asset management, including maintenance of component inventory, related documentation, and technical specifications information.
  • Conduct regular and routine monitoring and management of infrastructure components, ensuring the stable operation and efficient performance
  • Monitor CMMS and other Asset management systems capacity to determine its effect on performance.
  • Manage operational activities efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all the operational teams achieve their objectives for customer satisfaction, in accordance with Company Standards, Procedures and Guidelines.
  • Assist in development and implementation of all necessary policies and procedures to ensure all operation and maintenance functions achieve their business objectives, and that a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all company sites.
  • Establish and maintain controls and documentation i.e. to ensure documentation of decisions, actions, drawings, process etc. are up to date.
  • Provide engineering services, in accordance with corporate guidelines, procedures and standards, with qualified, competitive and efficient engineering competences to customers.
  • Ensure the necessary coordination with vendors and client requirements in order to provide better service.
  • Conversion of project opportunities from identification through tendering and into firm customer orders.
  • Support tendering department with turbomachinery related tenders.
  • Provide technical support to clients and internally as required. Lead turbomachinery related Root Cause Failure Analyses to identify probable cause of failure and suggest improvements to enhance equipment performance.
  • Conduct site visits and equipment performance benchmarking surveys at client sites, arrange all installation and commissioning activities and lead a team to execute projects at client sites.
  • Ensure services/ jobs are delivered in a timely fashion and managed within cost budgets.
  • Provide customers with progress updates on a regular basis or as required by the client.
  • Ensure the operation and maintenance plan is always kept up to date and that all equipment is specified and ordered as required by the plan.
  • Provide support for onsite installation, commissioning, service and troubleshooting of the turbomachinery equipment. 
  • Set up and control a technical action tracker for customer’s equipment issues holding weekly, monthly & KPI meetings
  • Support to identify engineering upgrade, turbomachinery equipment and advance part sales
  • To identify the gaps of dedicated personnel and conduct Performance Appraisal reviews of direct reporters. 
  • Undertake responsibility to comply with all the Occupation Health, Safety and Sanitation requirements applied within the company.
  • Perform other tasks, as requested

Education/Experience and Qualification:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading operation and maintenance companies which works in oil processing centers, oil and gas fields and pipeline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in O&M management and supervisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge about Rotating Equipment and process behind the overhaul and operation of gas turbines, natural gas compressors, MOL, Booster pumps and other major items of rotating equipment.
  • Familiar with differing international standards (API, ASME, etc.) applicable to rotating equipment and their ancillary systems.
  • Understanding and application of condition-based maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, lube oil analysis, integrity and performance condition monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in Azerbaijan, English languages
  • Microsoft Office Programs
