Junior Data Analyst

Accountabilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques;
• Develop and implement data bases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
• Improve business and financial Dash board.
• Maintain current reports and create new reports;
• Make suggestions for improving data collection and analysis;
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and visualize results in a clear manner;
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
• Ability and willingness to undertake other tasks assigned by the Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Management.
• Knowledge of Statistics. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

Experience:

• Experience using analytical tools like Tableau, R, Python, SAS, WPS, SQL for data analysis and statistical techniques;
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Outlook);
• 1-2 years experience working preferably with Micro Finance, Banks, Mobile Network Operators or other financial services would be advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Accuracy, attention to detail and reliability;
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills;
• Able to manage simultaneously multiple projects involving various stakeholders and to deliver results within deadlines.
• Highly collaborative with team members and able to learn quickly

Language Skills:

• Azerbaijani and English required, Russian would be advantageous.
