Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage, negotiate, and review sales and purchase contracts and agreements ensuring company’s interests are protected in line with corporate trading terms and conditions. 
• Stay abreast of legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements as applicable to LV Logistics and deliver general legal counsel as required by the business on legal compliance and transportation law.
• Managing litigation right from issuing/responding to notices to formulating litigation strategies.
• Partner with departments in LV to find commercially viable and legally sound solutions that support LV's strategy and business goals.
• Handle insurance claims from start to finish liaising with all involved parties and ensure legal compliance, adherence to claims processes, and timely payments.
• Drive claims toward judicious resolution through effective and timely communication with all relevant parties during a claim’s lifecycle.
• Provide insight on prospective customer contracts to best protect the interest of the Company in respect to claims liability.
• Support leadership by identifying potential problems, working toward solutions, accepting added duties and or responsibilities as needed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for questions on operations’ best practices, broker and carrier liability, and all overage, shortage, and damage issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (At least 2-year experience as commercial lawyer with in-depth)
• Good command of English, Russian and Azeri 
• Basic knowledge of Azeri Local Tax legislation 
• MS Office, experience with ERP.

Working Conditions:

• 8-hour working day (09:00 – 18:00), Monday to Friday, Lunch break: 12:00 – 13:00 or 13:00 – 14:00
• Being “on call” out of office ours is important.

Remuneration: 2000.00 – 2500.00 AZN NET.
