Data Analyst Intern

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting requirements, and ensure the reports and dashboards meet their requirements;
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports;
• Create new and support existing dashboards, including modifications and migrations;
• Develop and maintain ETL tools to deliver helpful reports and dashboards to stakeholders;
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
• Translate functional specifications into test scenarios and assist in the execution of test plans;
• Utilize analytical tools to address complex business dilemmas;
• And/or any other projects assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

Educational background:  

• BA/BS degree required (degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field preferred)

Experience:

• Experience in Data analytics
• Experience in Statistical analysis

Professional knowledge/certifications/qualifications:

• Team player and able to deal with all aspects of Data management
• Experience manipulating large data sets including mining data
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Strong experience with visualization softwares (Tableau or similar tools)
• Basic financial knowledge
• Experience with web analytics tools is an advantage
