Responsibilities:
- Understand all IT services currently offered by the organization and its providers.
- Stay up to date with information systems’ statuses, changes and upgrades in order to keep IT Service catalogue up to date.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Create regular reports as requested by line manager
- Maintains accurate records of completed and pending requests using the means provided by ADA University;
- Meet with internal customers to evaluate needs and recommend appropriate services.
- Assess, review, distribute and follow-up IT Service Desk inquiries between team members for Tier I level technical support.
- Coordinate required effort with IT staff members for Tier II and Tier III level technical support for escalated requests.
- Attend support calls, walk-up customers, and emails for Tier I level technical support
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business users, colleagues, and support bodies to provide a professional customer service approach
- Carry out communication with business users related to organization wide activities, incidents with global impact, changes in IT Services, manuals, guides and how-tos.
- Based on incoming incident and problem requests conducts continuous self-development and research using available resources (vendor knowledgebases, experience sharing, internal and external training, self-education);
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (IT, Engineering, Computer Science)
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good (above intermediate) PC literacy skills, DNS, DHCP, basic networking
- OSI model
- Troubleshooting skills
- Oral and written communication skills;
- Service-oriented;
- Attentive to details;
- Ability and willingness to perform repetitive work;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Ability to accept and perform junior leadership activities;
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and methods;
- Able to adhere to an agreed timeline;
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (desirable) languages.
