Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.
 

We are currently looking for Procurement and Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Receives, examines and processes requisitions
• Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment
• Interviews and corresponds with vendors; keeps informed of new products and market conditions by conducting surveys
• Cooperate with Line Managers/Supervisors of all departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
• Responsible for appropriate supplier selection/bidding processes for selected purchase requests, and supplier and contract pricing validation for all purchase requests under category management responsibility.
• Responsible for managing projects to improve procurement processes.
• Responsible for supplier communication to resolve transactional issues.
• Responsible for resolving invoice price and terms discrepancies to enable order processing.
• Support Procurement and Logistics department with the specific procurement needs
• Ensure administrative ordering process is maintained including regular database updates
• Provide management with regular reports

Requirements and skills:

• University Degree (Technical or Industrial Engineering degree is preferable)
• Relevant work experience 3-5 years (experience at the construction sites or in a production area is preferable)
• Fluency in  Azeri / English / Russian
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
