PHP Developer - The Role

The successful candidate to the role of Lead PHP Developer / Web Developer will be responsible for revitalizing the way company web systems integrate with their back end systems. Initially you will be working on the launch of a unique market leading site and so will be a key member of the team, having a real influence on both business direction and profits. As this role is directly linked to the implementation of major company changes, the successful candidate will be working alongside senior management on a daily basis - giving fantastic commercial exposure whilst leveraging technical skills and academic ability.

PHP Developer - The Ideal Candidate:

Primary requirements:
• Previous experience in a Senior PHP Developer role and a good working knowledge of up-to-date web development tools and techniques (PHP Developer, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and the ability to code in OOPHP and HTML.
• Knowledge of relational databases including MySQL and SQL Server
• A portfolio of related work

Secondary Requirements (not compulsory):
• Understanding of internet and web based applications and development
• Ability to come up with creative solutions and ideas
• Knowledge of Photoshop and search engine principles and optimization.

Compensation package will include high salary, travel expenses and employee stock options.
