Duties:

• To monitor and provide feedback on the hotel’s effective use of Hyatt systems, tools and procedures in areas of business intelligence, revenue management, inventory management and dynamic pricing to maximise Hyatt’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• To provide the hotel with external market intelligence tools, Internet web sites and corporate resources.
• To monitor and constantly adapt pricing strategies in the context of competitor strategies and market fluctuations.
• To assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in the strategic direction of the Sales team by assisting the sales managers with developing their personal business plans, corporate account classifications (key account management) as well as ensuring monthly reporting needs are met.
• To actively participate in the formulation and submission of the annual business plan.
• To optimise forecasting through the use of Business Intelligence and Revenue Management applications
• To be familiar with the technical set up for all tools including revenue management system used throughout the strategic marketing process.
• To provide the hotel Sales Team with business intelligence based on data mining solutions and secondary resources (PMS reports).
• To control group statuses and constantly follow it up with respective team members.
• To ensure correct inventory controls are in place for FIT / Group and for the hotel as a whole.
• To assist with inventory and forecasting methods of both FIT and group business, to ensure optimal strategies and controls are in place to minimise displacement and maximise total hotel revenues.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working in Revenue management sphere, ideally in 5 start hotel property
• Demonstrates excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Fluency in English and Azeri; Russian language (desired)
