General purpose
Procurement specialist will find sources for a particular product ensure order fulfillment with vendors and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules. The procurement specialist shall specialize in purchases of fruits and vegetables, agriculture-related equipment and materials, food processing equipment and materials, etc.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Receives, examines and processes requisitions
• Prepares bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipment
• Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Forecasts/reports monthly performance of material economics/cost saving objectives; advises management of risks/opportunities
•  Interviews and corresponds with vendors , negotiates and implements cost savings to meet or exceed material cost and total cost reduction objectives
• Keeps informed of new products and market conditions and trends.
• Analyzes purchasing trends to determine if existing contracts would benefit the company
• Performs related work as required.

 Education & skills
• Higher education; any other professional certification is preferred
• Related work experience is preferred
• Fluency in Azeri, good knowledge of Russian and English languages is required
• Basic computer skills / good internet orientation
• Driving license availability required

• Some knowledge of the application of bookkeeping principles and methods of the keeping of procurement records
• Considerable knowledge of a variety of office, technical, and maintenance supplies and materials, the best sources, and appropriate prices for the procurement of such goods
