Duties and Responsibilities:

  • HR Compliance: You will manage all aspects of ensuring HR-related activities, actions and decisions are compliant with standards set by the ICRC and Azerbaijani labour and employment legislation.
  • Employee Relations: You will ensure regular meetings with all staff throughout the delegation take place in order to ensure they are aware of their rights and respect their obligations and to inform them of any change in Labour legislation and general employment framework which may affect them.
  • Employee Relations: You will create and deliver HR practices which reinforce - and maintain - positive working relationships between the delegation and its people.
  • Compensation and Benefits: You will be responsible for delivering compensation and benefits activities, within the institutional frameworks.
  • HR Analytics: You will prepare and provide HR reports and analysis, as applicable, to suit various requirements across the employee life-cycle.
  • Operational Partnering: You will accompany line managers and staff by proactively providing value-added solutions and advice on HR issues and HR processes within your purview.

About you:

To be successful as a HR Officer, you should possess the following qualifications and experience and have the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in a busy human resources department.
  • Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of SAP HRIS a strong advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of labor law (Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
  • Possessing a strong sense of ethics, including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Very good knowledge of the English and Azerbaijani languages. Fluency in Russian is a distinct asset.
  • Experience working in an international environment and/or an international organization is a strong asset.
  • Cultural awareness and commitment to encourage diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
