Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, performance) and report regularly on project status
• Conduct site visits and construction monitoring activities
• Create frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of project
• Monitor project’s compliance to applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications
• Provide support in preparation and administration of project-documentation
• Support the preparation of offers and tenders
• Interact with clients, interpret their needs and requirements
• Attending meetings with contractors and following up on open issues
• Ensure availability and allocation of required resources
• Ability to work in a structured manner, juggling a variety of tasks and projects with both short- and long-term deadlines
• Complete projects on budget, in time and with high quality
• Sub Contract Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent technical education (eg. in structural /mechanical/ electrical/ industrial engineering)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Chartered Engineer or Equivalent)
• Project planning experience
• Experience in FEED, detail design, construction and commissioning of projects.
• Knowledge/qualifications on International Health and Safety Standards
• Possess supervisory and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to compose clear and accurate reports in English and Azeri
• Knowledge of MS Office solutions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with drawing layouts in AutoCAD or similar
