Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.

We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join the Company.

The duties will include (but are not limited to):

- To define the products to be launched into the local market
- To define the target market segments
- Create brands for the different market segments
- To set up a marketing and branding plan
- To launch the products into the market
- To generate the required sales volume according to business plans
- Implement  a pricing strategy and structure. Co manages the cost account coordinator and price fixer
- Train and build up a comprehensive local  sales and marketing staff
- Manage the  marketing and sales staff and co manage the product development  staff together with the General Director
- Create and maintain good contacts with the main retail chain and other key customers
- Develop a well functioning distribution matrix

Requirements for this position:

- University education in Marketing and Sales (International background is preferrable)
- Minimum 5 years experience with launching new products (FMCG) into the market
- Sales experience with FMCG and bigger retail chains
- Experience in paper products i.e tissue, hygiene  or Baby diapers business,
- Demonstrate proven track record
- Ability to train and coach people
- Able to cope with cultural differences
- Target oriented and resistant to overcome difficulties
- Excellent language skills: Azeri, English and Russian
- High standard use of MS Office applications
