ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job holder’s overall responsibility is to performing multidiscipline Quality activities related to the Fabrication, Construction, Installation, Hook-up, and Brownfield of the Oil Rocks Receiving Facilities.
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility. Respect the JOCAP Code of Conduct and Maintain ethical culture at the workplace.
- To review the applicable Quality activity compatibility of the Absheron EPS Project requirements
- Trained and experienced walking and punching piping systems against P&IDs, fabrication isometrics and pipe support drawings
- Provision of inspection technique and coating expertise to fabrication and construction supervision to aid and expedite compliance with specified quality and technical requirements
- Maintain departmental project Quality inspection files so that information is readily available to other department members
- Have working knowledge of design, manufacture, metallurgy, welding , coating , E&I and codes associated with fabrication and construction of plant and equipment
- Liaison with Offshore and Onshore team. to ensure seamless transfer of QC records and knowledge transfer between various disciplines
- Perform Surveillance duties on onshore fabrications and Offshore, assemblies, Inspection components and structures to project stipulated procedures, specifications and noted standards
- Direction, Monitoring and guidance to Contractors / Sub Contractors Quality inspection and Construction personnel during Offshore campaign Absheron EPS Project
- Monitoring of the continuous accurate QC records maintenance by Contractor/ Sub Contractor inspection personnel
- Examine structures or pipelines using various testing techniques. Selects, calibrates, and operates equipment used in nondestructive testing of products and materials.
- Documents testing methods, processes, and / or results in conformance with approved procedures.
- Support Quality investigations, perform inspections as per ITP inspection interventions
- Confident and able to work under own initiative
- Ability to gain respect whilst working within a multicultural environment
- Can work under pressure within ethical boundaries
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, Contractor/SubContractor to ensure that Company objectives are met.
- Coordinate daily with Construction/Fabrication Team.
- Monitor the progress of the Construction/Fabrication Team activities executed by the Contractor and report on any major deviations from Project planning schedule
- Provide summary reports to the project team and maintain regular contact with line manager

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System
- Take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of Others who may be affected by their acts at work
- Know responsibilities to environmental issues in the work areas
- Each employee, at his level of responsibility, must observe all Company Rules, Procedures and instructions in the performance of his own task As such his duties and areas of authority are:
- Follow HSE instructions given by Managers and supervisory personnel
- Assure of the safety of his work site before commencing work
- Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
- Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution  Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
- Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
- Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
- Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
- Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
- Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor Degree in Technical Field (Oil & Gas field is preferable)
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certificate, Level II in RT, UT, PT, MT according to CSWIP, PCN or ISO 9712 (EN 473) personnel qualification standards ,
- NACE Coating Inspection Certificate (CIP Level 2) or BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2
- With piping / structural / Civil fabrication background and Engineering/ Quality / Construction experience in Oil & Gas Industry
- Minimum 10 years practical experience in a similar role on Oil & Gas, Topsides/Jackets construction, fabrication and Installation projects
- Familiar with inspection/engineering criteria applicable to various disciplines, e.g. E&I, mechanical, architectural, HVAC, painting, insulation
- Having on job experience with international & Local standards, e.g. API / ANSI / ASME / ASTM / BSI / DNV / EN / IEC / ISO / NACE and alike.
- Offshore experience/valid qualification are mandatory
- Language skills (English and Azerbaijani)
