Role and Responsibilities:

- Advise the company on RSA tax regime, local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs;
- Identify risk matters to the company;
- Communicate with subcontractors of the company on various tax related matters (VAT exemption, WHT, etc.);
- Advise on tax and other relevant terms within the contracts the company intends to sign;
- Liaise with external advisors as needed;
- Schedule, plan and complete risk-based internal audits;
- Report and present findings to the business, making recommendations for solutions and improvements to policies / procedures;
- Maintain company registers and prepare and submit statutory filings as well as perform other statutory obligations as may be required;
- Attend corporate meetings and keep minutes and other administrative tasks as may be required.

What we are looking for:

Education and Experience:

- Be in possession of a university degree in Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification such as ACA or ACCA;

Skills and Abilities:

- Have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role (experience at an international audit company is an advantage);
- Be able to work on their own initiative;
- Be able to work on cross-functional engagements with other departments within the company;
- Have an excellent command of English;
- Be self-motivated and possess strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills;
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment;
- Must be a team player;
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality;
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
