Tasks to be performed under this assignment:

• Operate the crane in a safe and appropriate manner to lift, transport or place objects and materials.
• Check before every lifting that the weights are in the capacity limits of the crane and ensure all the right conditions to implement the lifting are in place (correct rigging, acceptable weather conditions, lifty area free of people).
• Check the status of the machine in general, the mechanical conditions and the instrumentations of the ables.
• Carry out regular crane inspections to assess the safety of equipment, detect wear and tear and identify maintenance needs for safe, productive operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on crane as required including fluid, oil and filter changes
• Make daily inspection of crane cable and condition and report any malfunction immediately.
• Maintain the cranes on a daily basis cleaning action including operator cabin.
• Liaise with Senior Engineer on crane maintenance and performance in order to ensure that repairs and preventive maintenance are carried out properly.
• Inspect weekly the cranes in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.

Qualifications and experience

• Completed Secondary Education with 5 years of relevant experience
• Valid driving license
