Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.
 

Therefore we are seeking a Chemist to join our Company.

• Control all activities related to finished product line control in accordance with specifications
• Assures that all raw materials put in production are according to specifications
• Calibrates all laboratory equipment as per frequency and methods specified
• Prepares all chemical solutions and its standardization
• Creates in place programs for incoming raw material control
• Monitors all results and communicate to QA/QC person if any potential risks occur
• Control the quality tests done by operators to ensure in any time a standard quality delivered to consumers
• Takes corrective actions whenever situation requires to insure a consistent quality of product on line, informs immediately QA/QC person about any nonconformities on product running and raw material
• Tests of return product from market
• Follow the quality trade program by collecting and analyzing trade samples
• Makes sure that all consumables in laboratory are available
• Collect all demands and submit to QA/QC person for ordering, when a minimum defined stock level is reached

Requirements:

- University education in Chemistry.
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience in chemical-analysis laboratory or performing tests
- Fluency in English, Azeri and Russian
- Good communicative level
- Well motivated, energetic,  self starter with imitative and able to take up responsibility
