Job Description


Leading a team of Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Assistants the Lead Logistic Coordinator shall:
• Be responsible for liaison with client’s appropriate department and/or representatives and further coordination of activities with operations and transport departments related to receipt of materials at the supply base, proper input into the computerized system and further dispatches to client’s onshore and offshore locations.
• Ensure all delivered materials meet requirements stated in Purchase orders, Call off orders etc. Materials Receipt or Return and are entered in database as well as all supporting documentation is accurately filed all in accordance with relevant procedure.
• Be responsible for providing all appropriate documentation (cargo manifest, required attachments, MSDS, certificates etc) for production materials dispatched from the warehouse. Ensure that Materials Issue or Transfer transactions are processed in Maximo.
• Ensure the combined deck planner is compiled.
• Ensure the most efficient and effective movement of materials.
• Ensure client requests are tracked to completion and all queries are handled in professional manner.
• Promptly investigate and solve all problems related to the above.
• Provide assistance with the preparation of monthly KPIs as required.
• Attend and participate in client/vendor/internal meetings representing Logistics department and/or the Company
• Other reasonable tasks as required by ASCO Management.

• Cooperation in all matters related to the efficiency of the Company’s Quality Management System, i.e. internal reviews, audits, etc and to report to the HSEQ Lead in a timely manner any errors or omissions found in the Company’s documentation.
• Strict compliance with HSE standards and all Company’s and Clients’ procedures.
• Monitoring and prevention of unsafe situations.
• Maintain awareness of the potential significant environmental and social aspects and impacts of the operation.
• Constantly look for and act in ways that reduce the health and safety risks, and the environmental, social, and security impact of your job and initiate improvements as necessary.

People

• Maintain an atmosphere and work ethic that fosters creative thinking and practice open and honest communication within the organization.
• Ensure full and efficient labour workforce utilization by planning activities to maximize the resources available.
• Carry out Company’s annual performance appraisals of subordinates.
• Participate in Disciplinary Investigations as required.
• Assess staff competencies and manpower levels and recommend changes when required.
• Coach, develop and demonstrate competency and capability of selected national staff to perform the role of the post

Customers

• Act as a main point of contact for all BP assets.
• Ensure safe, efficient and effective support to all the drilling and production operations user groups, warehouse production team and coordinators.

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 3-5 years related experience in industry and operations of supply base.
• Knowledge of Oil & gas materials
• Good command of English, Azeri and Russian.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to accurately handle paperwork and documentation in a controlled environment


Desired Skills

• Thorough understanding of HSE requirements & behaviour.
