Job Function/Scope
• Ensure that all activity is coordinated in accordance with relevant company guidelines and statutory regulations
• Complete all work within British Petroleum’s (BP) Safe System’s of Work (SSOW) practices as guided by BP’s 8 golden rules of safety
• Be aware of the potential significant environmental and social aspects and impacts of the operation
• Active participation in the SOC / BOSS programmes
• Attend SPS team brief/safety meetings as required
• Assist the ASCO Transport and Operations department in the following managerial aspects:
o Prepare, monitor and update daily activity plan for all transport movements
o Provide communication and coordination support to Transport Coordinator
o Ensure filing of job cards, driver and vehicle certifications is maintained and up to-date
o Carry out administrative duties as required
o Capture all KPI data and produce KPI reports for transport and other areas of ASCO operations Quayside, CCU etc
o Contribute to any planning meetings to ensure that transport and operational requirements are met
o Comply with and implement ASCO processes and procedures for ASCO assets
• Work with the ASCO Operations teams on daily operational planning as and when required
• Promote and demonstrate working as a team in achieving all ASCO operational and maintenance requirements
• Perform necessary material and documentation research to support operational activities
• Examine documents and monitor work processes for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications
• Report preparation and delivery of status reports as required
• Other reasonable tasks as required by ASCO Deputy Operations Manager
Qualifications/Experience
A minimum of 3 years related experience in a logistics, transport or operational environment
Knowledge of quayside and supply base operations advantageous
Able to demonstrate an understanding of KPI management and data analysis
Ability to communicate and be a team member
English reading, writing and language skills essential
