Site Lifting Coordinator 

Job Description

• Will be required to authorise all lifting plans & risk assessments for all categories of lifts.
• Ensure all personnel involved in lifting operations on site have proper training & are assessed as competent
• Manage & control the rigging & lifting loft inventory
• Responsible for all site lifting activities
• Maintain register of generic & specific site lifting plans & risk assessments

Person Requirements

• Must be able to communicate and be a team member
• Must be able to drive change and be innovative
• Must be able to identify priorities, co-ordinate resources and manage the performance of operations activities
• Must be able to accept responsibility, work under pressure and unsupervised, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and innovative;
• Must be able to accurately handle paperwork and documentation in a controlled environment

Essential Skills

• Accreditation to Rigger Level 2 EAL or Level 3 ECITB/CITB or equivalent
• A depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards & industry best practice
• A minimum of 3-5 years related experience in the oil/petrochemical industry maintenance, preference given to instrumentation
• Good command of English, Azeri and Russian and ability to communicate effectively in all three languages
• Excellent computer skills.
• Thorough understanding of HSE requirements & behaviour, Safe System’s of Work and use of Permit to Work system
